Every design must have been created by the Contestant alone and may not have already been awarded any prizes or submitted to any other competitions. In addition, designs may not yet have been published or produced.
By entering the Contest the Contestant grants Threadcutz and its subsidiaries and their respective successors as well as other persons or entities authorized by Threadcutz, free of charge, an exclusive, irrevocable, transferable, perpetual, worldwide license to use the copyright, related rights or any other intellectual property rights that have arisen by law or will arise by law in the designs, drawings and other graphic works prepared for and submitted in connection with the contest in any manner whatsoever for any purposes related to the contest and in particular for reports, documentaries, public relations and advertising; the contestant also grants rights for all kinds of use, including but not limited to the right to photograph, film and print the designs, drawings and other graphic works for commercial and non-commercial purposes as of the time each respective right arises. Threadcutz is entitled to publish the designs, but has no obligation to do so.
The contestant waives his or her right to prohibit distortions or other interferences with his or her work, which could endanger his or her intellectual or personal interest in the work. He or she also waives his or her right to demand that the person in possession of the original or a reproduction supply him or her with the original or reproduction.
The contestant waives his or her right to be named except in relation to the drafts submitted while the contest is in progress.
The contestant is obliged, upon request from Threadcutz, to hand over the originals of all files, drawings or other graphic works which represent protectable works or which could give rise to same and to transfer title to them to Threadcutz.
Threadcutz will be entitled to freely dispose of all of the foregoing.
The contestant agrees to use the following designations in relation to all activities connected with the Contest: Threadcutz Tee Design Contest.
Number of colors in the design file not to exceed more than three.
Design should be original, never published and should not contain profanity, trademarks, logos and copyrighted or intellectual property not owned by the designer.
You grant Threadcutz the right, in its sole discretion to print, publish, market or otherwise use the design and photograph submitted by you in any manner, in any medium now known or hereafter developed, including without limitation, on Threadcutz.com.
As a condition of submitting your design and photograph you unconditionally and irrevocably waive, and undertake that any other individual depicted in a photograph or design has waived, all claims to compensation for use of the photograph, and /or any rights with respect to such use you may have under copyright law, the right to publicity, the right to privacy, the law of defamation, and any other common law or statutory claims under the laws of any jurisdiction.
